President's Cup would be nice, but not having another first round exit is most important. Playoffs start in about 2.5 months. WOOOO HOOOO!

Start the hockey season in December instead of October. Then there will still be plenty of hockey action in the football off-season.

Did anyone watch the All-Star game? I don't think I even get that channel. The NHL is dying. In 10 years it will be on the level of indoor soccer and lacrosse.

I watched it. The NHL is essentially being black balled(that sounds nasty) by ESPN. If ESPN does not have a contract with a sport they will not show it on sportcenter. They never payed attention to the guys in the roundabout until ESPN got a contract and now there is a NASCAR Now show. Also Jeff, how do you figure the NHL is dying? They set an all-time attendance record last year and ticket sales have increased around 1% this season. Just because YOU don't go to games doesn't mean they don't exist.
