The Titans are engaged in conversations, that is farther than two other Tennessee free agents have gotten thus far. The agents for DT Robaire Smith and WR Bobby Wade both said Monday they are still waiting to hear from the team with free agency looming. At the NFL Combine, both GM Mike Reinfeldt and HC Jeff Fisher indicated that they would like to be able to keep at least one of their free agent wideouts, WR Drew Bennett or WR Bobby Wade, in the fold.

The agent for RB Travis Henry and new GM Mike Reinfeldt spoke over the weekend at the NFL Combine, and talks for a new extension are expected to resume right up to free agency, which opens Friday. Henry is due an $8 million roster bonus, and it appears the Titans have no interest in paying it. Therefore, Tennessee�s options are to work out some sort of new deal with Henry or turn him loose. If Henry departs, it could leave the cupboard nearly bare as RB Chris Brown is also scheduled to become a free agent.

smith isnt that bad of a player and we could get him cheap for a 1-2 year contract.
it seems like we may be holding off to see how much we are going to have to spend to get Clements !!!!
he is scheduled to come to NASHVILLE first on his journey, so hopefully we won't let him leave without a contract !!!
