Well, we all know he didn't actually compose the message. But it was nice to hear him say it.

It doesn't mean anything until he proves something to us.

Pacman Jones was seen at a New York strip club before his last meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen says Goodell knew Pacman's whereabouts the night prior while he informed Jones of his one-year suspension. Jones told Goodell that he'd already made an effort to stop attending nightclubs. He's scheduled to meet again with Goodell Friday to discuss his appeal.

i found a copy of the document that is being used for the appeal.

i didn't realize that the first suspension was only attributed to 4 different accounts. in the suspension, it didn't mention the vegas incident as part of the contributing factors.

i've said it before and i'll say it again, i agree that he should be suspended, but the entire year (or 10 games if he is good) is too harsh for someone never convicted.

Pretty harsh.

But on another note...PacMan got ticketed for speeding at 12:45 am Monday the 7th heading into downtown Nashville. I guess there was some jazz concert he had to get to late Sunday night.

Another note...I was listening to a local sports show Friday afternoon and a guy called in who had been listening to the same type of show in Chattanooga. This guy said that a policeman called in and said that he, Chattanasty PD, had pulled Pac over on his way to Nashville a couple of days after we drafted him. He had a little bit of pot with him, but they gave him a break and let him go. True or not? I don't know, but interesting.

I think that Pac is most likely finished. I will say this though, there were some people saying that Pac has now had 11 run-ins with the law after being pulled over for speeding Monday the 4th. WHAT!?! That's ridiculous.

When did getting a speeding ticket count as a "run-in" with the law?

i love how he gets in trouble and nothing is said about it for a month or two. why doesn't the news come out immediately? that seems weird...

Pacman Jones has reportedly missed a scheduled counseling session set up by the NFL.

The sessions are part of the conditions Jones has to meet to be reinstated. We don't think he has any chance of playing in 2007 at this rate and his actions indicate he's not a lock to be back in 2008.

The hog must get a hard-on sticking up for Pacman Jones. Jones will get everything he deserves.
