the biggest loss could be mason....

woolfolk should replace rolle ,of course not in the same shut down corner way , but maybe we'll be able to play more of a team defense......

WE DEFENITLY need a wide reciever though!!!

what does everyone think the titans should do with the 6th pick in the draft?

i'll start a new post....

Get a clue Guru!

There is so much crying and whining because we care about this team.
I will be maiiling a check this week for my season tickets and will faithfully watch or listen to the other games in 2005.

Playoffs expectations are for crack smokers. Mason and Rolle are not dead weight. They were major contributors to the team for many, many years.

How many times do you see teams have success with rookies and rejects from other teams? They'll probably trade their 6th overall pick because they can't afford to pay 6th pick money. The cuts this week only accounted for 80% of the cap overage, there will still be more cuts and more contract restructurings. And all these cuts are a morale killer for the other players - refer to the Godfrey-Rolle-Mason connection.

Correction.......they can now afford a sixth overall pick. The cuts made this week put them under the cap by 7 to 8 million dollars.

Mike Williams will be taken by the Bears...can you say Braylon Edwards at number 6? You can, but it won't happen. The Titans will either trade down to get Carlos Rogers, or keep the pick and take Antrelle Rolle.

On a side note; interesting how they cut all those fan favorites on Monday, and then I receive my season ticket bill on Tuesday with a $2 increase per seat/per game.

I heard the 80% number when the cuts were first announced. Now, titansonline.com says they are 8 million under the cap. So things aren't nearly as dreary as I thought.
