Could have been, Brian, could have been. I doubt it, but it could have been. That's my opinion.
Pretty safe? Nah, right on the money, I think.

we know that there may have been one time when pacman MAY have told his entourage to shoot the place up...
we don't know how many time over the past 6 years that VICK has ordered a dog to be hung, drowned, slammed or electrocuted.
VICK has done more damage to the leagues image than PAC

If Goodell is going to allow due process to take its course for one, then why not for all?
This is not about whether or not Jones did or didn't do these things. It shouldn't be about repeat offenses. It should be about an equitable judiciary process.

I don't think that Vick is as black as Jones; so, he may only get a four game suspension.

Give Goodell a little time? Sure, not a problem; however, when did this letting the criminal process play out become part of Goodell's formula? It wasn't applied earlier by his office.

actually, it is a big part of the process. he has already proven that if a person gets convicted, he will serve of a suspension (ALA tank johnson).
if pac wasn't the first one, he wouldn't have gotten as hard of a punishment.
