i'm sure everyone has heard about the latest news coming out of georgia....

i don't understand why they would wait a whole year to say something about it....

if he actually threw a punch at a police officer, why was that not national news at the time...

why now?

PacMan is seemingly going to be able to get out of the charges in Georgia. Apparently, he was sitting in his Bentley at 1 am in front of girlfriend's house. The cops saw the Bentley and decided to check out what was going on.

Tempers flared and that's where the obstruction of justice charge stems from. But his lawyer's argument will be in terms of due process. Pac was sitting there minding his own business and doing nothing wrong to warrant questioning; they may even try to pull the racial-profiling card. The argument being that he was doing nothing wrong, and the incident would not have occurred without the police not following due process.

check out this article on PacMan by ESPN.... it's pretty much says that he hasn't had a role model his whole life outside of football and that he has too much freedom in the NFL (no one holding his hand to make sure he does the right things.

"The last thing we want to do is give up on him," Upshaw said. "But he's also got to realize the stage he's on, and I think he does. He just doesn't know how to deal with that. Just punishing the guy for every time he does something wrong? If that doesn't change his behavior, then you have to deal with some of the psychological issues that may or may not be there. So, from that standpoint, maybe he needs to be in counseling."
