Gas has shot up to over $3 per gallon! Maybe all those gas guzzling monsters will stay off the road now. Quick commute!

I think that there has been some friggin' price gouging going on. Wait and see, it won't come down to where it was before Katrina happened for months; maybe weeks, even though SOME reserves will be released. W. doesn't give a shit!

i keep telling everyone if we will all come together and take our country back and simply stay at home for 2 days and not even go get a candy bar or taco bell...and if the truck drivers will do the same...we would get our gas prices and our country back

2005 2Q:
BP had profit increase of 38 percent - $6.7 billion
Conoco Phillips recorded a 56 percent increase in profit - $3 billion.

That's profit, not revenue. Fucking Cheney and his closed-door energy policy.

Hey Hog! Shouldn't that tag-line say MTFFL II Champion and not MTFFL Champion?

Anyway, I got gas in Cookeville yesterday for $2.89/gal. It was $2.59/gal. in Gainesboro...I effed up. There's definitely some price gouging going on with the Holiday weekend and such. BASTARDS!

I got it for $2.69 on my lunch break yesterday, but on the way home the cheapest I saw was $2.99. I don't know if the other gas stations caught up. Maybe Gainesboro didn't get the memo.

I don't know if this will work or not, but if you can, copy and paste the address below into your web browser it will take you to a website where you can enter your zip code and see fairly current gas prices. It is a Comdata website (my buddy works there) so it only updates when someone uses a Comdata card, but the cool part is the site allows you to see the margins at each gas station!
