Does Dauphin Island still exist?

we saw pics of dauphin island on the news and u couldn't see the beach!!!
u could only see houses and boats sticking out of the water!
crazy!!!
glad our drunk asses went 2 weeks ago!

They are going to have to rebuild the beaches they are washed away. As for family and friends. All family accounted for but we haven't heard from all friends yet. There are several hundered that we know so it will be a while. We do know that several lost everything though.

The Governor of Alabama was just briefing the President. He said that 60 percent of the houses on Dauphin Island were destroyed. No vacation there next year afterall; this catastrophe has been almost unbelievable.
