The NFL and ABC/ESPN conspiracy

The NFL and its players are fabricating stories to generate TV ratings and interest.
Case #1: Tedy Bruschi times his comeback for a Sunday night game. The media, of course, exploits the story for the primetime event. The next week the Patriots have a Monday night game to continue the media event (aka Bruschi lovefest).
Case #2: After eight quiet weeks, the Terrell Owens express derails. All media focus is on the Sunday night game against Washington. By coincidence (?), the Eagles host the Cowboys the following week on Monday night. Thus ensuring another week of hearing the same shit.
