So if Rodriguez hits a home run tonight it will be HR #493 but he'll have 500 career HR's?
Stupid baseball rules.

Tonight's game is a continuation of a game delayed a few weeks ago. According to baseball rules, if he hits a homer tonight - on his birthday and on the same day that Homer's movie is released - he'll have 500 career home runs but MLB will count this one as #493.
