Schmock Phlafts

Every mock draft has the Titans picking a WR in the first round.
The Titans have needed a receiver since, uh, ... Haywood Jeffries left. But except for Dyson, they haven't taken WR's high in the draft. I say the mock draft experts will be wrong as always.

That's a bit of an exaggeration. Mason was a great fit for the team and very productive.

You forgot about Chris Davis in the 4th round last season. Makes me wonder how accurate your historical data really is

Most reports I've heard are Felix Jones :applause: , Malcolm Kelly, Devin Thomas or Deshean Jackson. I would love to get Jones but Dallas may take him at #22.

I say we don't draft a WR in the first because none of them are really worth it based on my scouting prowess  Does anyone ever have any idea who the Titans are gonna take? Hell, I don't feel like they know until they are on the clock.....

I added Davis to the list.
Never mind your reports. Beyond the top 5 picks the mock drafts aren't even close. Hell, even the top 5 are even sort-of close. Mel Kiper is just another "Anthony Fowler" who has a lot of free time to compile reports and watch game film. OK, Kiper may be a little more energetic, charismatic and motivated than the common man, but that's all any successful entrepreneur needs any way. He doesn't need to be right. He just needs to sound right.

Look at http://www.nfl.com/draft/history and see how wrong people are every year.
