Nate Clements-DB-Bills Feb. 26 - 10:25 am et


The Nashville City Paper reports the Titans are high on the list of teams free agent Nate Clements hopes to sign a contract with.

The feeling is reportedly mutual, as the Titans believe Clements' style would fit their system and new GM Mike Reinfeldt has identified corner as one of his team's greatest needs, along with wideout and defensive end.

DO WE DRAFT ANOTHER RB?

Travis Henry-RB- Titans Feb. 25 - 9:33 pm et


Talks between Travis Henry's agent and the Titans have reportedly "hit a snag."

The Titans have until next Sunday to come to an agreement on a restructured contract or Henry will hit free agency. He is due an $8.3 million option that won't be paid.

Henry will be a Titan. It will get done. Our problem is WR. Bobby Wade and Drew Bennett are most likely gone; David Givens won't be ready for the beginning of the season. And that leaves us...Jones, Williams and Roby. They stink. Jones had some big games, but he reminds me of Drew Bennett. So, what the hell are we going to do? Get some rookie and hang our hopes on him? Not likely. Sign another mediocre WR free agent? Most likely.

This is my biggest problem with Floyd Reese, Mick's father, and just like Mick, he could never fill the roster with quality receivers.
You better get on your knees and pray...Sheffield and Gainesboro are on the way.
