Guerin on his way to San Jose


Bill Guerin has been traded to the San Jose Sharks.

The Sharks are giving up an undisclosed prospect and a first round draft pick. Guerin has been outstanding this season with 28 goals and 47 points. He will play on one of the Sharks top two lines and will fit in nicely with the likes of Thornton, Marleau, Cheechoo, Michalek and Clowe. Look for similar production out of Guerin in San Jose. He becomes unrestricted free agent in July, if the Sharks cannot re-sign him. Feb. 27 - 12:08 pm et

that makes a little more sense... i thought they were like baseball and they let people do it after the deadline.
