Tom finally replied tonight that he is going to be out of town on Sunday so he isn't going to take the team.
So we still need to find an owner to take over the Assassins.
Plan A
We select the keepers based on ADP or some other league agreed method. Then draft players for the team on Sunday. And hope that we find someone before the season starts to take over the team.
Plan B
Allow an existing owner to buy this team for 2011 only. We would have to come up with some anti-collusion rules.
Plan C
Declare the team DEAD and release all players from the roster and do not draft any players for this team. Every game would be an automatic win for the other owners. Then try to find an owner for 2012 next summer.

Re: Open Team - Plan A, B & C
See if Stock willl buy it for 25 or some other discounted price and let him run it. If he cant make it to the draft just make him release 8 players and keep the rest or let another owner have it with no trades between teams and no funny business with waivers.
Stock was kind of interested when I talked to him at draft one. I knew this guy was a no go when you dont log in. What a dick.If he wins at a discounted price say 50% discount then he only wins 50% of money and the rest stays in the pot.
If no one takes it dont release any players and The commish should enter the best lineup for the team for next year.

Re: Open Team - Plan A, B & C
I would go with Plan D or E.
Let Stock have it at a discount for this year only. It cant be an ongoing thing.
If we cant find anyone to take over, we cant have another owner have two teams.....how could you draft or what if your teams played each other? Too much room for error.
If we dump all that teams players, and leave it as a dead team, we wont ever be able to get that team going again.
I actually like leaving the team as is and waiting till next year to get a new owner.

Plan A with a tweak. I think we should draft by adp.
We could have fun with it and let a different person have access to the team every few weeks. If that team end up winning money, throw it into next years pot.
I don't think the players should be released bc it will create a big disadvantage for anyone in the future who might take it over.
If we find someone mid-season then they can have the team

Plan F apparently won out.
You better get on your knees and pray...Sheffield and Gainesboro are on the way.
