No New Damage For RB D. Davis, Concerns Remain

RB Domanick Davis is the key to the Texans' running game, and he has been nursing a sore knee that is running short of cartilage. The plan was to let him practice once a day, but soreness after the second day caused him to get an MRI exam that didn't show any new damage. HC Kubiak, who wants to run the ball consistently to set up the passing game, and OC Troy Calhoun have been concerned about Davis since they got to Houston. The coaches won't admit it now, but they know there is a good chance Davis will miss a lot of playing time because of his knee.
