football powerhouses fall

I work in Danville/Boyle County. Last year Danville High School (1A) and Boyle County (3A) both won state titles. It was Boyle County's fifth straight title.

This week both schools lost in the championship games to the teams that they beat last year in the final game. Boyle County lost only their 5th game of their last 90.

I think it's pretty amazing that this tiny county of about 27,000 people have developed two football programs that can beat up on the schools in Louisville and Lexington.

gotta love some high school football!! knoxville fulton and reggie cobbs little brothers ( qb and rb ) had good games yesterday and won the state 3-a title.
